While most weddings preferred to have only a few guests, Jess and Blake’s reception at the Belongil was packed with visitors, showing how much they are loved. Our Byron Bay Wedding venue – The Belongil stepped up to the challenge and it ended well for everyone.
The exchange of vows occurred in the Belongil’s garden where nature stood as a silent witness. A makeshift wooden altar covered with wreaths of flowers was behind the couple while two large trees tower on opposite sides, as if representing the bride and groom growing old together.
The dining area space was used efficiently as more than four rows of tables and chairs were set up, showing the venue can handle a huge crowd. Nature followed with hanging plants on the ceiling and souvenir cacti for visitors. Despite that, there was still space for a dance floor where the couple had their first dance.
